Occupaws Guide Dog Association

A new organization in Madison will be training and providing guide dogs to a limited number of visually impaired individuals in our community -- at no cost! President and founder of Occupaws, Nicole Meadowcruft, joins me on "Your Family Pet" this Sunday to discuss the advantages of obtaining a service dog from a local organization and how you can support this effort. Visit occupaws.org for more info and tune into to WRRD AM540 The Word on Sunday, March 4 at 3-3:30.

Nicole Koglin on Fox Six Wake-up

This morning Obey and I joined Nicole Koglin on Fox Six Wake-up to demonstrate tips for "Taming Your Hyper Dog."

1. Learn how to control your dog and get him to be mannerly regardless of the circumstanstances. (Basic training at Amiable Dog Training is the easiest way to achieve that.)

2. Teach him to accept restraint and confinement.

3. Give him confortable places to relax.

4. Provide exercise that stimulates and suits both of you.

Melonie Stout on Todays TMJ 4

On Sunday February 18th, 2007, WTMJ-TV let Obey and I sneak onto the morning show to share a few tips on "indoor exercise tips." Melanie Stout is not only a professional, Obey just loves her!

Then we slipped into the WTMJ AM 620 radio sutdio for a little chat with Dick Alpert. So good to see him again and meet the voices I hear every week on WTMJ radio.

Elm Brook Humane Society signing

Well-Bred Bargains an unscale resale shop in Elm Grove whose proceeds benefit Elm Brook Humane society hosted a booksigning for Hip Ideas For Hyper Dogs with Authors Kitty Foth-Regner and Amy Ammen.

We were there from noon-2pm and chatted with many wonderful dog owners and even made time to sell a book to Susan Chapman (pictured on the right). We also were mesmerized by everything in the resale shop and made several purchases from Paula the very accomodating store manager. Check it out at 890 Elm Grove Road. Well-Bred Bargains is a treasure!
